Currently, my most prized possession, and probably the most expensive thing I own, is my coin collection. I started collecting quarters when I was about twelve years old and continue to do so today. I collect standing liberty quarters. The book of coins I have spent years collecting does have a good amount of monetary value attributed with it, but what makes it my most valuable possession is the fact that it is one of my few hobbies I do with my dad. I watch sports with my dad, but nothing compares to spending a day with him at a coin show. We walk around and talk about our lives and look at coins. He introduced me to coin collecting and just like his dad introduced him to it. My dad and I have sent hours and hours at coin shows in huge convention centers. We almost always go to In and Out afterward to get food. These coins that I collect have lots of time and money invested in them and is something that my dad and I have in common.
